Explore the UK

Reading can be your base to explore as well as learn.

High-speed rail links with London (30 minutes by train) make it quick, easy and affordable for students to take advantage of all that London has to offer, and there are regular rail services to many other major cities around the UK. London Heathrow and London Gatwick Airports are easily accessible as well.

Many of the UK’s other major tourist destinations (Oxford, ‘Downton Abbey’, Windsor Castle, Hampton Court, Stonehenge) are all within easy reach.
